What do our parents/carers think?
‘My child has settled fantastically well; the very proactive attitude of the school towards this has really helped. Part of us settling as a family has been us feeling involved as far back as school places being announced, and knowing she’d had lots of contact at nursery. We all felt very familiar by the time school started!‘
‘My child has settled so well. Having chance to speak to staff when dropping off and picking up really helps puts my mind at rest. Seeing lots of photos on tapestry is great as we look through them as a family and we enjoy seeing what my child gets up to.‘
‘The staff are all really supportive and friendly. Having an older brother already at the school, so familiar to her already. The activities are really exciting and engaging.‘

‘We couldn’t be happier with how our child has settled. I think meeting the teachers at home really helped. Being greeted at the door each morning by most if not all the teachers is a lovely touch and helps start the morning right. The fact they knew what he liked / interests in advance so that this could be used as part of the engagement also really helped.‘

I love Catshill First School because it is welcome to everyone.
I like the lessons and my teachers because they always challenge me and the lessons are fun.
I like this school because the teachers keep me safe.
I like how we have mindful actives and PE because we do lots of fun thing and I like doing sports its really fun and I like all the school trips we went to in all the year groups.
I like the lessons because there are amazing teachers.
I like it because there is no bullying in the school.I like the playground because it is big. I like reading at school because there is lots of books.
I like the kindness shelter because we can play games.
I like it because every one is kind.
I like coming to school because I love seeing my friends and my teachers.

I like P.E because I like doing sports and the sports coach is really nice and kind. I don’t think there is anything bad about the school.
I like Maths because I love my time tables and when we are also doing our column addition.
